With this Adapter you can charge up your Zero Motorcycle at any J1772 EVSE, public or private. The onboard charger is rated for 120 -240vac so while not charging faster, it will mean that you don’t have to go home or find a 120vac outlet since the J1772 EVSE are 240 vac.
This is exactly like the J1772 Adapter that some people charge $300 or $400 for, which in my opinion is just outrageous.
Or if you have the accessory charger get the ZA-2 with 2 C-14 connectors or even the ZA-3 with 3 C-14 connectors. You can also have the C-19 connectors installed. Most J1772 EVSE’s are rated at 30A (6,600kW), and since each of the cords to the C-14 connectors is 14AWG (rated at 15A), you’ll have excellent safety margins for your Zero Chargers. Please note that the C-19 cords are 12AWG and rated at 20A for the 2500W Elcon
I can also put a plain 14AWG pigtail on it so that you can connect it to your own flavor of charger (counts as a C-14 connection).
Another variation is using the C-19 Plugs, I can substitute a C-19 Plug with12AWG wire for one of the C-13 for the same price-
